Shipping Policy

This Policy governs the methods, timing, and conditions related to the shipping of products purchased on the Mum Hug website.

By placing an order, the customer declares that they have read and fully accepted the following conditions.


1. Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.

Business days are defined as Monday to Friday, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

During periods of high demand, promotions, or holidays, processing times may be subject to delays.


2. Shipping and Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are generally 6–12 business days from the date of shipment.

These timeframes are purely indicative and not guaranteed, and may vary depending on various logistical factors.

The customer accepts that delivery times may vary, including significantly.


3. High Demand Periods and Holidays

During periods of high order volume (including, by way of example, holidays and recurring events such as Mother’s Day), shipping and delivery times may be longer than usual.

⚠️ Important — Event-related deliveries

Mum Hug does not guarantee delivery by specific dates, including holidays or special occasions.

By placing an order near such events, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:

  • delivery by a specific date does not constitute a contractual obligation
  • any delays compared to the event date do not constitute non-performance

4. Possible Delays

Delivery times may be delayed due to circumstances beyond Mum Hug’s control, including:

  • courier or logistics delays
  • adverse weather conditions
  • local or international holidays
  • customs inspections
  • high shipping volumes

In such cases, delivery may take up to 20 business days or more.


5. Delivery Responsibility

Mum Hug is committed to shipping orders within the indicated timeframes.

In accordance with applicable law, the risk of loss or damage to the products remains with Mum Hug until the customer (or a third party designated by the customer) physically takes possession of the goods.

Mum Hug is not responsible for delays attributable to third parties or force majeure events, to the extent permitted by law.


6. Shipping Address

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the shipping information provided is accurate and complete.

In case of errors or omissions, Mum Hug is not responsible for any delays or failed delivery.

Any additional costs for reshipment will be borne by the customer.


7. Failed Delivery

If delivery is unsuccessful due to reasons attributable to the customer (e.g. absence, failure to collect, incorrect address), the package may be returned to the sender.

In such cases, any storage fees or reshipping costs will be charged to the customer.


8. Tracking

When available, the customer will receive a tracking code to monitor the status of the shipment.
